Nic Cooper is an emerging artist based in Toronto. They graduated from NSCAD University with a BFA, Major in Fine Arts in 2012. Their project Something Happened Here has developed during artist residencies and has been featured in two solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and catalogues. Recently Cooper received the Kevin J. Batchelor Emerging Artist Award at an exhibition (2016), had a solo exhibition entitled The Rate of (2017) and has been selected for the upcoming exhibition Toronto: The Views are Different Here, at John B. Aird Gallery in Toronto.
